Why this course?
The e-learning course is designed to train the individuals that can be designated as Food Safety Supervisors in the manufacturing sector. This course details the requirements on food safety & hygienic practices to be followed by Food Business Operators engaged in the manufacturing sector. It is based on the Schedule 4 requirements of FSS (Licensing & Regulation of Food Businesses) Regulation, 2011 along with the industry best practices. Training of food handlers is a pre-requisite for ensuring food safety and the same is also mandated in the FSS Act, 2006.
It has been designed according to the flow of operation in the
manufacturing industry for ease of understanding of the Food Safety Supervisors.
This course is supplemented with the visuals, specific to the food industry for facilitating the trainers. This course will serve a wider purpose of training the Food Safety Supervisors and will also be useful to the food handlers in implementing the hygiene requirements in the food production premises.
